This is one of my favorite autumn shots of the Hessler Log Home on Old Mission Peninsula in Traverse City. The perspective, the fall colors and the contrasting
shadows add to the mystery and character of this rustic, historical landmark dating back to the mid-1800s.

Sheryl is a Michigander, through and through. She loves to travel all over the state, specifically The Thumb region. With family roots in the Bad Axe and Kinde areas, and a family home in Harbor Beach, she has been exposed to more natural beauty than one can imagine...perfect for the photographer in her!
