A painting of a favorite historic restaurant in Costa Rica named Lola's after the pig who resides there. Seriously, there is a very large pig who loves to lie in the water that you can see in the background by the waves. She comes up to the patrons to visit. The healthy cuisine is great there and the waiters speak english! The beautiful beach is a great place for beginner surfers and boogie boarders and the staff is very friendly.
Christie Michael has had a passion for art even as a little girl. She was inspired by her great grandmother Walsy, who didnít start her painting career until she was 60 years. While growing up in Arizona and Oklahoma, Christie studied art throughout her school years. She graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor in Fine Art with a focus in painting. She furthered her studies at Scottsdale School of Art and private drawing and painting lessons from professional artists.
