Description

Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Shown is a minimalist interpretation of a park bench in Cismigiu Gardens located in Bucharest, Romania. The Cişmigiu Gardens are a public park near the center of Bucharest, Romania, spanning areas on all sides of an artificial lake. The gardens' creation was an important moment in the history of Bucharest. They form the oldest and, at 17 hectares, the largest park in city's central area. As I was strolling through the park, which seems to have seen some decline over the years, the strains of the Beatles' song, "Yesterday" came through my mind. The park is surrounded by lovely Beaux-Arts apartment buildings, which too, have seen considerable neglect in the ensuing years. I reminisced about the fashionable life-style which once surrounded this magnificent greenspace in the center of Bucharest, which was once known as "The Paris of the East". Cheri Randolph

Cheri Randolph was awarded a degree in Fine Arts from the University of New Orleans with a concentration in the study of Art History. She credits printmaker, Calvin Harlan , a UNO professor, as being quite influential in her composition techniques as well as painter, Ida Kohlmeyer with a better understanding of color. Pictorialism would best describe her current work, stylistically. Cheri has expressed her artistic talents in a variety of ways including; wheel-thrown pottery, quilting, vintage clothing restoration, interior decorative painting and photography. She is a resident of both the Houston Heights and historic New Orleans Uptown. A favorite quote is, "The bird of time has but a little way to flutter - and the bird is on...
