Ok, now for something completely different . . . The cosmos; does it get any cooler than that? Like many young boys, I developed a fascination for the mystery of the night sky and couldn't get enough of it - black holes, red giant suns, galaxies, dark matter, exotic planets and solar systems, the speed of light, the utter vastness . . . Truth is, I still can't resist the majic of it all and I love working on space imagery. This piece portrays the view from a large, rocky, earth like, moon orbiting a ringed gas giant planet, its young sun peaking out and warming the soupy, organically rich, atmosphere; activating the chemistry. Perhaps this is the beginning of another grand evolutionary journey . . .

John Robichaud began his artistic career as a documentary filmmaker creating programming for PBS and Discovery Channel. His fifteen years of experience in the field, observing and exposing nature’s beauty on film, helped to develop and hone a unique “eye” for capturing dramatic composition and light. Today he brings his deep appreciation and love of the natural world to his collection of art prints.
