I had held off purchasing any Super Bowl LVIII collectibles or memorabilia until I found something that I thought was just “awesome”. When I saw this SI Cover, I knew I had to have it. Honestly it’s one of the best photos I’ve ever seen. Along with the captions it captures what Super Bowl LVIII was all about. Your Photog was in the right place at the right time and did a great job of capturing what Chiefs fans all across the country felt at that moment. As you can see I had the perfect place for it, it makes this wall complete and up to date.

Artist's Description

A mother herself and inspired by the Great Mother, Perfection of Wisdom, Machig Labdron lived in Tibet in the 11th and 12th centuries. Intelligent, courageous, and illuminated, she was the only Tibetan male or female to initiate a distinct tradition that spread back into India , the motherland of Buddhism. Machig developed a system, the Mahamudra Chod, that takes the Buddhas teachings as a basis and applies them to the immediate experiences of negative mind states and malignant forces. Her unique feminine approach is to invoke and nurture the very demons that we fear and hate, transforming those reactive emotions into love. (Sarah Harding, Machiks Complete Explanation: Clarifying the Meaning of Chod)

Leslie has always loved working with fabric and colors as well as working on herself, so it gives her great pleasure to be able to create inspiring images of personal transformation from pieces of colorful fabrics. All the better when those images also inspire others! She studied design at the University of California in Santa Cruz and continues to broaden her education with art and textile studies in California and Europe. She is a member of the American Craft...
