Absolutely loved my print. The depth and details are spectacular and the quality of the print is fantastic. I framed this in a white frame and didn't have the exact size handy so kept the lower space intentionally open. I love how it came out.

I bought this for a friend who lived in France for many years. Now that she is back in the states she misses France her favorite country. When I spoke with her on the phone she absolutely loved it. It showed all the places she lived or visited. She loved that it had an antique flair. She is getting it framed when she can. This my gift for her to bring up her spirits. She has stage 4 cancer. We live in 2 different cities & are comrades & would do anything for each other. When I saw it in the website I knew I had to buy it. Great work. Artist's Description
Inspired by William Paley's inference of a creator from the mechanisms of nature, and a bad pun from Descartes view of non-human organisms as 'machina anima'. A pyritized ammonite is fused with an 18th century pocket watch mechanism by the photographer. Paley began his book on natural theology by stating that a watch found on a heath while walking would give proof of a designer while a stone would not, just as complex natural creation gives proof of God. Dawkins' mentions this logic in The Blind Watchmaker" and goes on to evoke evolution by natural selection as the mechanism for achieving complex design."
