I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.

In Malawi Central Africa my birth place. The is a young girl called Aisa and she was as in Malawi tradition married off to an older man at the age of 11years. She had two kids and by the time she was 15years her husband and parents had died of malariea and aids. She now has her brothers and sisters to look after and her kids. no food- no nappies -no water- no means of making a living execpt to sell her body. SO this Painting if for her so All the sale money can go direct- and buy fertilizer so she can plant crops to make a living. This painting is not Aisa but of a beutiful Malawian Mum.www.shirleycharlton.com
