The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

Taking a much needed break from the beatings of strong waves on the North Carolina shore, Topsail Island. Hurricane Irene paid us a visit the next day and we were evacuated. Oh well. My poor little girl! It was tough out there, battling the angry ocean, but we had fun, despite Mean Irene!

The most important thing that I've learned from great photographers is to capture the essence of your subjects in a natural and sensitive way, to capture the true nature of people, places and things that surround us. I believe that my photographs do just that. I've always been a photography enthusiast and have a background in graphic design. I saved up and bought my first SRL camera when I was 15.
