Product Details

Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Artist's Description

Methylisothiazolinone preservative molecule. Computer artwork showing the structure of a molecule of the biocide and preservative chemical methylisothiazolinone (MIT). MIT and other isothiazolinone-derived biocides are used to control microbial growth in water-containing solutions. MIT is often used in personal care products however, some studies have shown it to be allergenic and cytotoxic, leading to some concern over its use. Atoms are coloured coded spheres carbon (black), hydrogen (white), oxygen (red), sulphur (yellow), nitrogen (blue); with the bonds between them shown as rods.
