I have lived in and photographed the Eastern Sierra in California for 12 years now. It is a photographers paradise with endless opportunities for photography. One of the first lessons I learned when I moved here was never to leave the house without my camera, just driving to and from work can present chances for spectacular images. I spend a lot of time hiking in the Sierra Nevada back country, my favorite thing to do here.
