Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

This is a fused sterling silver magnetic brooch set with a 5 x 7 malachite cabochon. I created this wonderful piece in 2006 by fusing tiny bits of sterling silver together without using solder. It is hand fired and worked with a torch at about 1600 degrees. Each piece is always unique and one of a kind. It is 20 x 40 mm in size and held on any type of clothing without damage by my unique system of four strong magnets.
this piece reminded me of a Picasso painting when finished, so I named it "Modern Art"
This brooch is signed, titled, dated, copyrighted by Laura Wilson, and handmade in the USA.
