Hi, Julie! Came here from seeing your comment under Helene Henerson's very recent work. The scattering of leaves caught my eye for a moment's memory of Helene's recent painting. Frankly, I might not tell my best friend this, but since I hardly know you beyond a few minutes with your very impressive images, I'll just tell you I'd get out my hacksaw and dispose of the bottom quarter of the photo -- hell that still leaves half the leaves, plenty if still not too many, for their sharply detailed contrast with the upper third. Probably your "window" to catch that was very short, huh, but thankfully you managed angles, and settings, etc, so as to create, frozen for all of us, is this loud rackety world, so sorely in need of more of such beauty and quiet (and literal PEACE!).
