Artist's Description
A panoramic view of Bath New York, taken from Mossy Bank Park. Bath is the county seat of Steuben County. Seen are (among other things) Interstate 86, the Bath Veterans Administration, Bath National Cemetery, the former Davenport Estate, an eagle's nest, numerous churches, the county court house and office buildings, the Conhocton River, the hills of Steuben County, and on the distant horizon, a wind turbine project.
About Joshua House
Joshua House has been described as a photographer, a conservationist, a historian, and an adventurer. Having traveled and worked extensively across the country he is currently concentrating his photographic work in Eastern Texas, centered on Houston. His past creative work has included research, writing, and photography for the Lincoln Home National Historic Site in Illinois, Homestead National Monument of America in Nebraska, and Dinosaur National Monument in Utah and Colorado. As a conservationist he has worked with the US Army Corps of Engineers, the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, and the National Park Service.
