Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

This small farm
is in the Appalachian Smoky
Mountains of western
North Carolina.
The barns are about 100 years old, weathered wood and old red metal roofs. The farmhouse on the property is white clapboard and sits snuggled in the valley between the surrounding mountains. The forest of trees is in autumn color, tinged in the gold of sunset. A light misty fog dances over the pastures, pretty clouds floating into nightfall.
