Second Work in the �Fantastical Village of Niyan� Series

The Second work in the �Fantastical Village Series� by artist Shawn Orne. Through the series, we venture out on a visual journey throughout the realm and are taken to see the homes, shops, and stores scattered throughout the artist�s own kingdom of Niyan.
Here we�ve pause along the road and view the residence shop of dear Mrs. Bristlebottom. Master Broom crafter of highest pedigree.
All though throughout this series we never get to see the resident�s of the abode�s themselves- as peering through windows is frowned upon within the realm- we can easily guess what the owner does as a trade by examining each home�s features as we gaze upon the property from the road side.

Launching into the full time pursuit of fine arts in 2010, my passion is for Oil and traditional brush. Content follows my own passion for Fantasy (High Fantasy), Fairy Tail, Mystical, Whimsical and what I define as narrative fine arts illustration. A tale is being told visually through my works. I often infuse symbolism, myth, legends and lore as a platform from which to start a new work. With a background in the fine line of highly detailed Ink work, the black & white with its shaded hues of grey burst into layers of color having taken on the masters challenging medium late in the fall of 2009. Today detail, complexity and my techniques are expanding ever more with each new work completed.
