Artist's Description
The original painting has the bicycle riding off the canvas. As with most of my paintings, I start with the colors I feel like. Once I've decided on the colors, I allow my mind to clear and then begin moving pretty quickly.
I have super fond memories of our bicycle ride up Mt Tamalpais (before and after). Thus painting depicts the wonder, excitement and challenge of it all.
