Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

Fits my phone perfectly and looks fantastic.
A few months back, me and two other fellow photographers drove to a beach in Sintra to shoot a stunning sunset, but as soon as we arrived we realized we were out of luck (Sintra has a very tricky microclimate)! So, we decided to go up to the mystic hills of Sintra, where we could use the fog in an appropriate setting. But of course, by the time we got there we started a race against time. The sun was setting and the light would soon be gone. Considering that we needed to clean and dry our lenses between each shot and how difficult it is to get the correct exposure in this weather conditions (especially when you're not used to it), it was quite a challenge!
In this particular photo, you can see the ruins of an old chapel in the foreground and, at the top of the hill, the Peninha Sanctuary. Located in one of the highest points of Sintras mountain range, the Peninha Sanctuary dates back to the 17th century. It is a place with a breathtaking view over Lisbon's coastal area.
I was born in 1976, in Portugal. Grew up in a small town in the countryside and later, at the age of 18, moved on to the big city. It was a difficult transition at the beginning, but in time I learned to love and enjoy the beauty of both. But, truth be told, I still favor nature over concrete! Thankfully, in either case, the marine coast has always been a short drive away! I'm not saying I like the beach - because I don't! - but I love the seascapes! I'm happily married and father of one gorgeous boy! I fell in love with TV and movies very early on in my life. Not surprisingly, that dictated my future: I'm a TV producer, journalist and film critic! I've produced several TV shows and I've written movie reviews for several newspapers and...
