Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print.   Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum.

The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back.   The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

All metal prints ship within 3 - 4 business days and arrive "ready to hang" with mounting hooks and nails.

Metal prints are extremely durable.   They're lightweight.  They won't bend, and they're water resistant.

Growing from the dark soil of a misty forest floor is a red mushroom with white spots. This is amanita muscaria sometimes called the fly agaric. It is both poisonous and psychoactive and is one of the most common mushrooms in the world. When people think of toadstools, this is the fungus that comes to mind. It is also the basis for most mushrooms depicted in pop culture, such at the mushrooms depicted in the Mario line of Nintendo games. It grows around the world in temperate areas. This should not to be confused with Psilocybin mushrooms, the psychedelic magic mushrooms, which are another hallucinogenic kind. Consumption of amantia though can still cause hallucinations. In theory it can be deadly as well, though no recent deaths have been reported.

For years this has been my only artwork to feature a mushroom.

Daniel is a classically trained artist. A native of the East Cobb community in the Atlanta Metro area, he majored in art at the University of Georgia and has since accumulated over 25 years of art experience. Most well-known for his scientific illustrations of prehistoric creatures, he is also accomplished in creating Wild West art, fantasy art, wildlife scenes, and horror illustrations. His works have appeared in magazines and newspapers; the covers of books, albums, and products; and even in a few science and natural history museums.
