While hiking in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, we came to this magnificent set of falls. The resulting photograph has been painted digitally, in a watercolor style.
About Linda Seifried
Kayaker, hiker, camper, gardener, biologist, artist and photographer. Nature is what I photograph and paint, and I use my own photos as a basis for all of my digital paintings. My goal is to paint landscapes that are peaceful and restful, well composed and pleasing to the eye. New York is my home state, and most of my photographs and paintings show the countryside, farmlands, mountains and lakes of the region. I grew up spending weeks in the Adirondack Mountains and around Lake George; these are still favorite destinations for me, and many of my finest pictures were inspired by the beauty of these areas [and other scenic destinations I have traveled to].
