My husband and I stumbled upon this charming little place while driving back from Rochester New York back to Charlottesville, VA. My father in law Bill suggested we take the drive from Skaneateles Lake New York back home. This beautiful place is called New Hope Mills. It once was a thriving pancake house back in the back, there is a waterfall gorge, and lake. Now it's abandoned and forgotten. I'm so glad that we stumbled upon this jewel of a forgotten place.
