The artwork is beautiful. I think it would be excellent on a canvas. I have been considering a second order. I am in awe of the artist.

I have not received the sandhill crane framed print yet/ cannot submit a review yet.
This photomontage imagines ESO 137-001, a barrel spiral galaxy, juxtapositioned in the Earths night sky behind the Seattle space needle. ESO 137-001 is 220 million light years away from Earth; the gas tail in the image is about 400,000 light years long. ESO 137-001 at the head of the tail is thought to be dead, producing no new stars due to the loss of heat in its tail. This is because ESO 137-001 is a ram-pressure stripped galaxy. Pressure stripping occurs when the galaxy is moving at a high relative velocity through an intracluster medium superheated plasma at the center of a galaxy cluster of sufficient density to strip the galaxy of its gas.
Stellar image combines NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope observations with data from the Chandra X-ray Observatory. As well as the electric blue ram pressure stripping streaks seen emanating from ESO 137-001, a giant gas stream can be seen extending towards the bottom of the frame...
