About the Artist

Louis Scotti

Lifetime New Yorker who loves the city for all its grandeur, architecture, grunge, congestion, neon lights, diverse cultures, and funky people. This is a place where there is never ending energy and opportunity to photograph anything from the unusual to the spectacular 24 hours a day. It also makes a wonderful hub from which to see the world. I have been interested in photography from a young age when my father brought me in a naval base dark room where, with strange chemical baths and a huge enlarger, he brought to life Kodak film. Now in the DSLR world, the vision of a photographer remains the same but our "dark room" of Photoshop, et al, has been modernized. I hope you enjoy my photos.
