Artist's Description

In january the lupins are in bloom in the egglinton valley. This was originaly a studio oil painting since used as an underpainting for an oil pastel. I think the light & colour has been improved. Subject was captured on slide film using a stereo realist 3d camera. The final version does have more of me in it, as the oil pastel final stage is done from memory & imagination

Now unfortunatly for me, liver cancer will cut my journey short. Chemotheraphy started on the 29th november 2012. completed 18th june 2013. this has given me more time. How much? I dont know. Each day...
