The Barn Owl is the one that has that beautiful Heart Shaped face with dark black eyes.
The color and pattern markings makes it so striking and considered one of the most beautiful birds of prey.
Soft rust with black and a speckled design with a white breast, the depth of the coloring depends upon the season.
Because they thrive on rodents they are always a welcomed sight in the barnyard .
As most Owls they are nocturnal predator with the female of the species tending to be larger than the males. The so called Silent predators in the night.
