Schlossbr�cke or Palace Bridge. Berlin, Germany. Nike takes the fallen hero to Olympus (Nike tr�gt den gefallenen Helden zum Olymp) by August Wredow, 1857. The Palace Bridge (Schlossbr�cke) at the eastern end of Unter den Linden in the center of Berlin was constructed 1821-24. The Bridge was designed by Karl Friedrich Schinkel NIKE, pronounced NI-KEY, is the winged goddess of victory according to Greek mythology.
