About the Image

Nixon's Brilliant View of Fall Alongside the Rapidan River by Lee Nixon

Nixon's 22x28 Brilliant View of Fall Alongside the Rapidan River is an exciting landscape acrylic painting. It is dominated bya bright, fiery red orange tree. The 'S' curve, formed by the Rapidan River, directs the eye around the composition, however the fiery red orange leaves becomes the center of interest..This painting highlights the elegant and dazzling colors of Fall! The soft tinted background contrast with the rugged textures and blazing colors in the foreground. This scene also highlights the drama of fishing at the Rapidan River while I was a youth with vigor and endless energy, just like the river.
