The North Rustico Harbour Light is a lighthouse on the central north coast of Prince Edward Island, Canada. The station was established in 1876 and the lighthouse itself was built in 1899. It is still active. A bit of light is breaking through the clouds to cast some light on the lighthouse, creating a dramatic scene against the dark clouds.

Yes, sometimes bad weather can actually produce more interesting images! The lighthouse was lit by shafts of sunlight while the sky in the background was quite threatening. One of my favorite conditions to shoot in if everything comes together. :)
