Congratulations on your first place finish in the recent B&W with color accents contest, Scott! A well deserved win! Love the textures, lighting, elements, composition, and your choice of color accents.

Beautiful photo! Fav

What a mystical, magical looking place - very dramatic in black and white. The contrast between the regular lines and shapes of the building ruins and the free forms of the trees strikes one immediately. Congratulations on the 1st place win in the recent Black and White Photography with color accents contest.

A well deserved contest win Scott

This Looks So Good!!!!

Artist's Description

This is perhaps my favorite shot the the Old Sheldon Church in Beaufort, South Carolina. These ruins are a popular location for many outdoor weddings. The old church, also known as Prince Williams Parrish, has a rich history. It was burned originally by the British during the revolutionary war; it was later rebuilt only to be burned again by General Sherman during the Civil War. Photography by Scott C. Hansen of LowcountryPhotography.net
