About the Artist
Regina Calton Burchett
Regina Calton Burchett works in a variety of mediums, including pastels, pencil, pen and ink, and watercolors. Regina studied art from an early age, and received a B.S. degree in textiles and a minor in art from Michigan State University. She has studied drawing, painting, calligraphy, stone sculpture and weaving, computer art and computer animation. She is past president of the Bastrop Fine Arts Guild (Texas) and the Carolina Artists Guild (North Carolina). She is currently a member of the Pastel Society of North Carolina, and a previous member of the Austin Pastel Society, the Texas Pastel Society, AVAA, and the Creative Artists Society in Austin, Texas. Pastels continue to be her favorite, to view and to create.
