The main focus of my work is what I call ‘Urban Portraiture’.
I aim to capture the essence of a location in my vision of it’s unique attributes. Often times places I consider to be the beauty and charm of a locale are what many others consider to be the less desirable areas.
For me, these places hold the most character and honest expression of the human experience. An experience that in today’s advanced post-modern society are very hard to sort out from the perspective that any number of marketing teams and political organizations want to project onto our landscape.
