Very pleased with the image, color, printing . My selection of printing onto wood is great for this image. There are a few mildly dark lines which are natural to wood. They show through the image and contribute to the image--glad that none of these was over the face of the horse rider.

Perfect! I wish that you'd included a translation of the two inscriptions in some ancient language that are above the shoulders of St John Coltrane. It would cost your company virtually nothing to supply this with the picture.
Artist's Description
DCIM100MEDIA
This piece is a painting from my series entited, "Crown and Glory." This series is about a celebration of natural African American hair! It consists of images of several different natural hair styles with negative words (such as buckwheat and ignorant) embedded within them. The words are bringing forward the negativity that is often associated with natural African American hair to the audience and inviting a conversation about the falsehood of the meaning of these words to the subject and their hair. This series is announcing that black hair is beautiful and should be celebrated for its distinctiveness.
*The words embedded within this piece are "Ghetto", "Hate", "Cruel", "Poverty", "Trash", and "Embarrassment."
About Angie Redmond Artist
I am a figurative and portrait artist from Chicago, IL. I received my Masters of the Science degree in Digital Art from Knowledge Systems Institute in Skokie, IL and a Bachelor of the Arts degree in Studio Art (emphasizing in oil painting) from Albion College in Albion MI. My pieces contain both oil paintings and drawings. I use my personal experiences to focus my artwork on various social issues within a culture. For example, the subject of natural African American hair is a reoccurring theme within my art. Having natural hair myself, I has faced a lot of ridicule and negative views towards my coils. Drawing from those experiences I create paintings and drawings to celebrate natural hair for its unique distinctiveness...
