About the Image

Old Adobe Cottage by Brian Lambert

This image was taken in the spring of 2012 at Buckhorn Mineral Baths Motel in Mesa, Arizona In 1939, hoping to develop their own source of water, the Sligers sunk a well. However, recognizing that a mineral baths would be a good tourist attraction, the Sligers capitalized on their new find by developing the hot springs. They built a bathhouse capable of serving 75 patrons each day, and cottages that allowed patrons to stay overnight

I apprenticed under Jonathan Russell who did his internship under Ansel Adams. I received an Associates degree in Arts and have won awards for my art.
