I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.

Artist's Description
This is a portrait completed using two different reference photos that were taken at different times, by different photographers in different styles. Her's was a soft-focused hand-painted photo while his was a harsh military photo. I even had to change the direction of his look to compliment her. Difficult but rewarding.
About Tess Lee Miller
I was raised in the home of a Southern Baptist minister and blessed with a loving, nurturing family. God’s blessings have been in evidence my entire life and it is His grace through Christ Jesus that has provided the abilities I have. I began drawing at a very early age and drew my first portraits in junior high school. My mother remembers me as “always having a pencil in her hand”. There were no art classes offered during high school, so I was excited to be able to attend, and earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from, Mississippi University for Women. I am currently the President of the Artist Association of the Inland Empire and will soon begin my second term. Over the past few years I've been awarded numerous awards in juried...
