"Old South Hammock" by Catherine Sherman.

A hammock beckons on the veranda of an antebellum mansion in the Low Country of South Carolina. The morning sun casts long shadows. What a perfect place to relax, surrounded by palm trees and live oaks dripping with Spanish moss. Beyond are the white pillars of another old mansion.
