Artist's Description
Tulips are one of my favorite flowers and I love to photograph them. My husband gave me this bouquet of pink tulips for my birthday so of course I had to photograph them. I added some layers of textures to give the image an aged painterly appearance.
About Peggy Collins
I am a digital/mixed media artist and nature photographer living on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. I'm surrounded by the ocean, forests, mountains, and abundant wildlife, and these things bring me joy that I hope finds its way into my images. When you view my work, my wish is that you feel a sense of intimacy that deepens your own connection to nature. Aside from photography, one of my passions is creating portraits of cats, dogs, and other animals. I also have growing collections of abstract landscapes, trees, flowers, and musical instruments.
