Artist's Description
Omega Lake in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area is a 12"x16" original oil painting on canvas of the view from a BWCA camp site on Omega Lake. Canoeing through several lakes and carrying gear and the canoe across several portages got us to this picturesque, peaceful little lake in the boundary waters between northern Minnesota and Canada.

About Me Jane’s paintings are primarily landscapes from Minnesota Lake country and South Dakota Prairie. She resides on Mille Lacs Lake in Minnesota with her first husband, one golden retriever, one rescue dog, and an old barn cat. Occasionally her four children or her grandchild drop by for a visit. Her primary media is oil paint on canvas but has dabbled in water color as well. She is an amateur cellist and has a Master of Science in Nursing. My goal for my paintings: To create beautiful, high quality, art suitable for hanging on any wall in a home or business.
