This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!

We were disappointed that the name of the artist is cut off and not showing in full. We feel the name of the artist is an important part of it and would love to have it rectified

We live in the desert so the Palm theme resonates. The color scheme is brilliant and perfect. We would like to see more from this artist. Where do we look?
Artist's Description
Once Upon A Time In The Desert 2
This old two story home sits overlooking the Victor Valley in Pinion Hills. You can tell that it was once the pride of that area. Nice architectural touches with Gable windows and quarried rock from the immediate area. But time has taken it's toll and the abandoned structure has become a reminder of someone's past dreams. The stucco is cracking, windows broken, and the doors are splitting. It's destitute of life today and in a state of decay.
Highway 138 is just below the home. It sits in the foothills below the mountain town of Wrightwood, California. I noticed some large bear paws in the dirt as I was photographing. Must have come down looking for food. These old homes are fascinating. This is the second in my Black and White series "Once Upon A Time In The Desert". Enjoy.

About Glenn McCarthy Art and Photography
Welcome to Glenn McCarthy Art and Photography. My primary goal is to share art and photography that matters, or just clicks somewhere in your soul. I choose to stay away from being typecast in one style, theme, or stereotype. I prefer to dabble in a variety of scenes and venues. But I think you'll find that I have a fondness of the great outdoors. Perhaps we need to pause a bit longer and enjoy a hot beverage and a bit of conversation along the way. That seems to be a lost art in a day where everything is moving far too fast. Click the Collection of your choice and begin your journey. Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact me by pressing the Contact button. (C) ALL GLENN MCCARTHY ART IS COPYRIGHT PROTECTED....
