Another image from one of my favorite photographic haunts in Pennsylvania, Old Bedford Village in Bedford, Pa.
This image is of the interior of one of the one room school houses there. This is the Kniseley School and was built near Pleasantville, Bedford County in 1869 and was used until 1932. As I've mentioned in previous posts about Old Bedford Village, this building was indeed an original school, is not a recreation, and was moved to the Old Bedford site as part of their "living history museum."
