The oldest pair of skates known date back to about 3000 B.C., found at the bottom of a lake in Switzerland. The skates were made from the leg bones of large animals, holes were bored at each end of the bone and leather straps were used to tie the skates on. An old Dutch word for skate is "schenkel" which means "leg bone".
Welcome and let me say thank you for visiting my work! In this cyberspace world we often don't have that opportunity.
I began photography when I was learning web design. I needed images that weren't copyrighted, so I made my own. As I was looking with an eye for the web, I began to notice little details and found that what I most enjoyed was industrial objects such as nuts, bolts, steel beams, bridges, and rust.
I'm still pulled by digital art though and most often I find myself either out looking for a new perspective or in front of the computer creating.
Aside from finding the small details of an object I enjoy travel photography. Montana has many treasures I've yet to find.
