Owl Creek Pass was used in the scenes from �How the West was won� and �True Grit� was filmed along this route. The stunning peaks against the blue Colorado sky as you journey along this 1885 cattle driven trail. The area has tall white-barked aspen trees, spruce and fir, rivers and reservoirs along with wild animals and great wildflowers.

Photography has been a lifelong interest of mine and now that I am retired, the free time has allowed me to devote more time and energy to viewing the world through my lens. Challenging myself to capture the beauty and contrast of nature through changing light, creating powerful images, is my passion.
