Palm trees silhouettes at sunset on the coast. Shot in Shikmona National Park, Israel.
Tel Shikmona is an ancient mound situated near the sea coast on the southern entrance to the modern city of Haifa, Israel. Archaeological excavations in the 1960's uncovered the remains of a city that existed there and was intermittently inhabited during the Byzantine period.
Shikmona is declared a 1677-dunam nature reserve and a part of it as a national park as well.
