This hand painted panel, which advertises the old Pan American airline, is located in Costa do Valado, Aveiro, Portugal. It's 19 feet long and 9 feet tall and depicts a Boeing 707 of the famous american airline. It is considered one of the most important testimonies of the use of traditional Portuguese tiles for advertising purposes. For many, it is a true work of art. The installation of the advertising panel dates back to the year of 1963 when the N1 Road was a strategic route to everyone traveling between the cities of Porto and Lisbon.
