Partagas is one of the most famous and oldest Cuban cigar brands and was founded in 1845. The factory is a popular destination for tourists and is found in the centre of the country's capital, Havana. It is also said to be the first factory that employed the famous lectores - people who read to the tobacco rollers to inform and entertain them while they worked.
