My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. My dad was a medic during WWII and he was often right in the mist of the fighting. He spent his spare time drawing what he had witnessed during this time. These are a reminder of what war is all about. This art is now a part of the Air Force Art Collection that was started in 1950. These pieces of art are constantly displayed at military bases throughout this country and around the world.
These are the prints that the Army Art Collection gave my mother when we had the opportunity to view the originals when the collection rotated through Washington, DC. No one in the family had viewed them, since he donated them at the time of his discharge after the war.
