The magnificent parish church of Soll in the Wilderkaiser area of the Austrian Tyrol is a masterpiece of late Baroque Rococo design with many elements. It is dedicated to St. Peter and Paul. The imposing High Alter is flanked by four side alters, all displaying wonderful detail. On the High Alter, especially expressive are the Virgin Mary in the coronation scene, at the top, and the two kneeling angels to the left and right of the tabernacle. The ceiling has magnificent frescos depicting scenes from the lives of the major apostles, Peter and Paul, created by Christoph Anton Mayr. It is no wonder that this church is known as one of the "peasant cathedrals" of the Lower Inn Valley of Tyrol.
