Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

"Pemaquid Point Light" is a photograph of the historic lighthouse located in Bristol, Maine, at the tip of the Pemaquid Neck. It is show here, reflected in one of the pools of water left in the spectacular rocks by high tide. This famous lighthouse can also be seen pictured on the Maine state quarter.
The tower and Keeper's House were constructed in 1827. Neither lasted long, perhaps because the builder used salt water to mix his lime mortar. The second contract stipulated that only fresh water be used. The new tower, built by stone mason Joseph Berry from Georgetown, was completed in 1835. A new wood frame Keeper's House was added in 1857. At about the same time, the tower was upgraded with new technology: the Fresnel lamp. The beacon that shines today is that same, fourth-order lamp which can be seen 14 nautical miles out to sea. The beacon was lit, at first, by whale oil, and later, by kerosene.
