Artist's Description
This is a work of art that started out as a concept for a Peter Pan story. I was asked to work on some ideas because of my work doing pirates and mermaids. I really enjoyed being able to make something new out of a classic novel. I took all the concept parts together and created a poster style artwork. Hope you enjoy it as much as I had making it.
About William Depaula
DePaula is known at the Island Artist. From the time he was knee-high to a crocodile, DePaula has wanted to draw. DePaula wants to bring people the beauty, the colors and the sense of relaxation of the islands he loves. He envisions a world in which beauty is as important as function, where culture and history are fiercely preserved, and where islands are havens to be protected. DePaula creates a world of vibrance and subtle mystery. William’s world is filled with vivid life and color. The pictures give you an energy of what was painted or drawn. The work is a blend of the dramatic influence of the early masters and the simplicity of the modern masters. To learn more about the Island Artist visit, http://www.theislandartist.com
