In my mind's eye I can see Picasso as an old man working at his easel. His chateau is not air conditioned and it is a warm day. He has the window open, but it is not enough. Jacqueline has brought him some cold water from the well in a ceramic piece he had made a few years earlier. He pours the sparkling water into a glass and drinks to satisfaction.
This piece is in the collection of New York University in Manhattan, NYC. I have altered the appearance through post processing to fit my rambling imagination.
