Here is another terrific pink grapefruit colored sunset, at our beach! So calm and serene! A most calm and beautiful place to be that day. A winter sunset, where we could actually see the sun! The clouds parted and the rays of warm pink toned light came screaming through for us to enjoy that night! Who says Washington can't have a beautiful sunset in the dreary days of winter! I love these days of cold and DRY weather! Those are the Olympic Mountains located in Washington State in the background. The Brother Mountains can be seen to the right of this photo. Many times I take my rowboat and row across the bay to a little store and get a sandwhich and watch the Purple Martins fly around and have cool nests that are provided by the local marina. It's a beautiful place to live and be on the beach and the water. The Brothers are a pair of prominent peaks in the Olympic Mountains which are located near the Hood Canal in Washington state on the boundary between Olympic National Park and The B...

Capturing a moment in time, is one of the best emotions. I love seeing something thru the lens and holding it near you as long as you can. I like for that image to be caught by surprise. A pure emotion. That to me is usually the most interesting. Anyways.... Photography is my medium. This is lovely, Kym! I visited Washington for the first time in early Fall of last year, and while it had been too fry for quite this much color, I definitely enjoyed picking blackberries!
