Absolutely loved my print. The depth and details are spectacular and the quality of the print is fantastic. I framed this in a white frame and didn't have the exact size handy so kept the lower space intentionally open. I love how it came out.

I bought this for a friend who lived in France for many years. Now that she is back in the states she misses France her favorite country. When I spoke with her on the phone she absolutely loved it. It showed all the places she lived or visited. She loved that it had an antique flair. She is getting it framed when she can. This my gift for her to bring up her spirits. She has stage 4 cancer. We live in 2 different cities & are comrades & would do anything for each other. When I saw it in the website I knew I had to buy it. Great work. Point Pinos Lighthouse is located on the Pacific coast of central California near Pacific Grove on the Monterey Peninsula. Built in 1855, it is the oldest continuously-operating lighthouse on the west coast of the United States. The building, lenses and prisms in this Pacific Grove lighthouse are all original, and it is still an active aid to navigation.
Initially, whale oil was used to fuel the light at Point Pinos Light. In 1880, the lighthouse shifted to kerosene for fuel. In 1919, it was finally electrified, and in 1926 a fog signal was installed. In 1975, the light was automated, and licensed to the Pacific Grove Historical Society. The fog signal and radio beacon were deactivated in 1993.
The lighthouse remains very much as it did in 1854. The original third-order lens still shines from the station.
